Scale Studies – I have never found a truly comprehensive scale exercise book on the market, so I have decided to create my own. There will be three versions (Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced) that will offer many etudes in all twelve major keys and cover the entire range of the instrument. The Advanced and Basic are nearly complete, with just a bit more layout to prepare.
My “Jazz Scales for Trombone and Euphonium” is complete! See a sample on the “Items For Sale” page.
Peer Gynt Suite – I am currently working on a trombone choir arrangement of Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite, both No. 1 and No. 2. I am not sure if I will do all of the movements. As of now I have finished Suite No. 1, Mvt. 2, “Aase’s Death.” This movement was premiered at the November 13th BYU Trombone Choir concert.
