Event Calendar Working

I have had Google Calendar embedded as my event calendar for some time, but I have finally figured out why the “Upcoming Events” tools were not working. Now you can easily see the next several events in the sidebar and on the events page.

Aurora Symphony has a new Principal Trombone

This should not come as news to anyone keeping up with the Events page, but I was offered the Principal chair of the Aurora Symphony Orchestra. It has been an exciting season so far, especially since the Music Director search has given us a different conductor for each concert. Join us for our final concert in May!

New Events

I am substituting with the Aurora Symphony for the opening concert of the 35th Anniversary season. There is a possibility for this to turn into a permanent position. Come enjoy the concert featuring Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 4, Chausson Poeme, and Verdi La Forza Del Destino Overture. Visit the Projects/Events page for more details.

New Video, New Event

I have posted a new Featured YouTube Video of the “Galop” from Rossini’s William Tell Overture played by trombone quartet.

Also, check out the following new event:

  • April 8-9, 2011 @ SLC Tabernacle and Browning Fine Arts Center – The Utah premiere of Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God with choir, orchestra, and soloists. See the Projects/Events page for more information.

Orchestra Concert Success

Thank you to everyone who attended the Orchestra at Temple Square Concert this last weekend. The program was a great success! I had a really good time with all three pieces and really appreciated the large audiences that turned out to support the ensemble. Thank you!

Also, there is a new Featured YouTube Video. Take a minute to check it out.
