December 3-4, 2011: The Nutcracker Ballet (7:00 pm & 2:00 pm @ Vance Brand Civic Auditorium, Longmont, CO ~ $12-$30) – Come see the Longmont Symphony Orchestra and the Boulder Ballet present this timeless Christmas classic. August 28, 2011: Too Many Trombones (9:00 am & 10:30 am @ St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Highlands Ranch, CO ~ Free) – Come hear this trombone choir perform prelude, Offertory, and postlude music for the St. Andrews worship service.

June 20-27, 2011: Mormon Tabernacle Choir East Coast Tour (Various Times and Locations ~ Prices Vary) – If you live on the East Coast and have not had the opportunity to hear the Choir in person, you do not want to miss this chance. April 12, 2011: BYU Brass Chamber Night (7:30 pm @ Room TBD , UPC, BYU ~ Free) – The brass chamber students of BYU present a musical collage. Come hear a variety of ensembles perform works that span across the genres. I coach several of the ensembles that will be performing.

April 9, 2011: Lamb of God (7:30 pm @ Browning Fine Arts Center, Weber State Campus, Ogden ~ Free) – Come hear the Utah live premier of Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God. I will be performing in the orchestra for this special event. Click HERE for more information.

March 17-18, 2011: A Spring Premier (7:30 pm @ SLC Tabernacle ~ Free, ticket required) – It is time again for the Orchestra at Temple Square’s Spring Concert. This one is a excellent one at which we will premiere a new work: Double Concerto for Violin and Viola by Paul M. van Brugge, performed by Igor and Vesna Gruppman. Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet and Bernstein’s West Side Story round out the exciting concerts. Click HERE for details and tickets. I am really looking forward to playing this one!

February 19, 2011: “One Nation, Under God” Celebration (7:00 pm @ Utah Capital Building Rotunda, 2nd Floor ~ Free) – A patriotic evening of uplifting and encouraging music sung by large choir with band. Conducted by Lex de Azevedo.
